It Looks Like China’s Economy Is Recovering In Q1

China’s economic indicators show signs of improvement in Q1, but volatile markets and a sluggish world economy make it hard to be sure, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said on Friday, according to Chinese TV.

Yet Li says the situation is better than expected and he's confident the government will be able to maintain medium to high-speed economic growth over the rest of the year, Reuters reports.

Despite easing capital outflows, Chinese officials say the economy shows signs of improvement following the country’s 6.8% growth in Q4, the weakest since the financial crisis.
