Kylie Kendrick joins the company from HSBC in London, where she was managing director of global head of wholesale banking operations. She will report directly to JLL CEO Christian Ulbrich and oversee a number of JLL corporate functions, including audit, legal and compliance, sourcing and procurement and the JLL Business Services and Transformation Office, according to a JLL filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission

Kendrick's appointment is the latest in a number of C-suite changes for JLL. Late in 2020, Greg O'Brien, formerly Americas CEO, was appointed to a new role as global CEO, markets. John Gates became Americas CEO, while Andy Poppink became EMEA CEO, markets. All of those changes were effective at the beginning of 2021.

Kendrick will "contemplate" relocating from London to JLL headquarters in Chicago, according to the filing, but the company declined to comment on whether she will or not.

"I aim to apply my experience in complex organizations to help JLL build on its strong global platform and scale its operations for continued growth and success," Kendrick said in a statement.

As COO, Kendrick will receive a base salary of £385K/year (based on a conversion from $500K/year), and be eligible to receive an annual target bonus of £1.155M for 2021 (based on a conversion from $1.5M), with a minimum annual cash bonus for this year of £808,500.

Kendrick has 16 years of experience in business management. Before her stint at HSBC, she worked in a number of positions, including nine years at Lloyds Banking Group, where she served as COO of various business groups. She also held positions at Deutsche Bank, Barclays and Deloitte Consulting.

She holds a degree in economics from the University of Queensland, a postgraduate diploma in finance and economics from Melbourne University, and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
