Pollo Campero Inks Deal For First Restaurant In Tennessee

Latin Chicken restaurant brand Pollo Campero has inked a deal with franchisee Sosa Properties to open its first restaurant in Tennessee. Slated to open in Q1 2017, Pollo Campero Nashville will be at 30 Harding Mall Drive. Sosa Properties owner Alberto Sosa owns Nashville's Taquería San Luis and Carnicería San Luis.

At the heart of Pollo Campero's menu is traditional fried and citrus Peruvian grilled chicken. Both are prepared with a proprietary blend of Latin herbs and spices that Campero has been using since it first opened its doors in Guatemala in 1971. Campero also offers Latin side dishes, including empanadas, plantains and yuca fries. There are more than 300 locations worldwide, with more than 60 of those in the United States.
