First Citizens Bank, which is based in North Carolina, acquired 1516 16th Ave S, where it plans to move its Nashville NQ. The bank paid $3M for the 7.3k SF Music Row office building. It's occupied by Rocky McElhaney Law Firm, which will relocate to Hendersonville next spring.

First Citizens has 10 of its 16 Nashville-area employees at its market HQ on Demonbreun Hill; the bank also has a branch in Franklin. According to The Tennessean, the bank will be expanding its staff as it makes the move next year. Colliers International Nashville's Tony Vaughn and Chad Poff repped First Citizens Bank in the deal, while Urban Grout Commercial Real Estate repped the seller. [Tennessean]
