Big Plans for CoCo Walk

Federal Realty Investment Trust and local partners Grass River Property and The Comras Co acquired an 80% interest in the 198k SF CocoWalk in Coconut Grove, based on a total value of $87.5M. "Our firms share a common focus on creative placemaking led by retail, dining and entertainment," Grass River Property's Tom Roth tells us (right, snapped with colleague George Spillis).

Now, he says, the new owners will create more integration between CocoWalk and the Coconut Grove district. "Our team at Grass River Property will be the partnership’s eyes and ears in the neighborhood, given that our office is a block away and many of our partners live nearby,” he says.
