WeWork Leases Entire Downtown Building

New York-based WeWork, which operates co-working spaces in various US markets and four countries, inked a lease for the entire 96k SF Security Building in Downtown Miami.

The company signed a 15-year lease at the currently vacant, 16-story building with plans for a major build-out. The space will be WeWork’s second site in South Florida.

A group of investors, including Andrew Joblon, Daniel Gohari, Rory Greenberg and Ricky Weisfisch, acquired the property this summer for more than $25M. [TRD]
