Food & Beverage Keys to Hotel Competitiveness

Placeholder

What's the best way to a hotel guest's heart? Through his or her stomach (or rather, taste for fine dining). Recently Tate Capital tasked Menin Hospitality with managing the food and beverage operations at Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale, which Tate Capital recently acquired, a move that will "activate a part of the property that has been silent for many years," Tate Capital president James Tate tells us. (Strange. When we don't eat well, our stomach is quite noisy.)

Menin’s portfolio includes Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, Red Ginger, Radio Bar South Beach and Pizza Bar South Beach—along with hotels Gale South Beach, Kaskades Suites at Gale and Sanctuary South Beach. "A guest's experience is the thing in hospitality," James says. He adds that despite the boom in the hospitality industry, it's still a competitive landscape—and properties need to keep up.
