Roses Are Red: Manchester Office Amenity Now Includes Floristry

Scooters, dog-friendly officesviewing platforms: What's next in the world of Manchester office amenity? The answer is roses, and an interactive portal to order them.

Knight Frank, in conjunction with the landlord, Mapletree, has partnered with Australian property technology and services company Equiem to launch a new smart technology platform in 3 Hardman St., designed to revolutionise the way work communities interact with the building and each other.

The move is Equiem's debut in the UK regional office scene.

Called ‘3 Hardman Life’, the portal has introduced a varied and exciting lineup of new amenities and offers to the 350K SF workplace at Spinningfields.

Tenants can use the platform to access services such as dry cleaning, catering and floristry, free yoga classes, a regular food market, retail pop-ups and taxi booking discounts.

There will also be monthly community drinks, lunch and learn sessions and a new pizza store, to name a few.

Having entered the UK market just over a year ago, Equiem is already contracted to roll out its platform across more than 5.5M SF of prime commercial space in the UK.

The app has been widely welcomed, with 1,105 people signing up within the first week, so presumably the office block will be deluged in bouquets before Friday.

Melbourne-based Equiem has developed from a team of two, to more than 250 employees across offices in the UK, U.S., The Philippines and Australia
