New Renderings Of Proposed Olympics Site Revealed

New renderings show what the Coliseum may look like if LA is able to secure the 2024 Olympics.

Track and field would dominate the field at the Coliseum.

USC’s Dedeaux Field would be transformed into a venue for swimming at the Olympic Games.

USC's Uytengsu Aquatics Center, the site of the 1984 Olympics’s swimming events, could be a swimming training center, according to Curbed.

The new LAFC soccer stadium, which would have originally hosted the swimming competitions, will be the site of soccer.

However, the LA 2024 committee said there may be adjustments to the venues before the final plans are delivered to the International Olympic Committee in February of next year.

It would mark the third Olympics at the Coliseum if LA becomes the host city. [Curbed]
