WeWork Expands To Burbank

WeWork is prepping to open its 12th location in L.A., this time in Burbank.

The co-working pioneer will open a 75k SF, four-story office space at The Tower at 3900 West Alameda Ave.

The location will include WeWork's standard private offices, shared kitchens and co-working space but will also have a green room that can be used for filming and editing — a necessary addition in such a creative community with neighbors that include The Walt Disney Co and Warner Bros. Studios, The Real Deal reports.

WeWork - West general manager Jon Slavet said the new location will have more than 1,300 members.

He also said it will have "a large events space, unique local design features, and we have built infrastructure to explore the possibility of future production rooms."

Other tenants in the building include Vubiquity and STX Entertainment. WeWork is scheduled to open there in April. [TRD]
