LA Chart of the Week: Playa Vista's A Tech Hot Spot

With new tenants like Yahoo, Microsoft, Facebook and Verizon/Edgecast, Playa Vista has become the new Los Angeles hot spot for tech giants.

According to this JLL chart, you can see that the neighborhood has had 35 new move-ins since 2014, and many of them are much larger than those from 2011, 2012 and 2013. This trend continued into Q2 '15, which saw a huge increase in the number and volume of tenants. JLL anticipates more moves in 2016.
