It appears plans for an office tower at 11750 Wilshire Blvd in West LA will include a residential component.

New renderings from the LA Department of City Planning show the Landmark Apartments would be part of Douglas Emmett’s proposed high-rise development.

The development would feature a 34-story building with 376 units, 16 of which would be set aside for low-income families as part of a density bonus Douglas Emmett requested.

The building would also contain a fitness center, swimming pool deck and other amenities, according to Urbanize LA.

Gensler is slated to design the proposed 349-foot-tall tower.

The development would include an 18k SF park with green space, outdoor seating and pathways facing Wilshire Boulevard.

Construction of the Landmark would require partial demolition and reconstruction of a portion of the underground parking garage that spans the development site.

The 17-story office tower that stands on the property will remain in place.

The project could be completed in 2020. [ULA]
