Including these latest cuts, Meta has eliminated more than 5,100 jobs in the Bay Area since the beginning of 2022, The Mercury News reported

The latest job cuts will be effective July 28, Meta Vice President of People Lori Goler said in letters submitted to the California Employment Development Department.

Since Meta announced its first round of layoffs in November, the company's stock price has jumped 157%, according to LA Business First.
