AST Sportswear Moving Into Ex-American Apparel Facility

AST Sportswear moves into former American Apparel facility.
Brea's AST Sportswear has new digs in Hawthorne at American Apparel's former manufacturing facility.
The move is expected to add 120 manufacturing jobs to the company payroll, the Orange County Register reports.
AST Sportswear moved into the 94,560 SF Liberty Property Trust-owned industrial facility at 12537 Cerise Ave.
The new facility will allow the company to rely less on contract dye facilities.
Cushman & Wakefield senior directors Steve Bohannon, Rooney Daschbach and directors Rusty Smith and Eric Daschbach repped the landlord. The lease was officially signed in Q4 of last year.
American Apparel went bankrupt last year. Gildan Activewear paid $88M for the rights to American Apparel's brand earlier this year.
