Century West Partners has begun construction on Phase 1 of the $150M Lincoln Collection, a 285K SF mixed-use project that will bring much-needed apartment housing to the growing Santa Monica and Silicon Beach area.

The development will comprise two separate apartment buildings, an 89-unit apartment building at 1601 Lincoln Blvd. and a 191-unit apartment building at 1613 Lincoln Blvd.

“The Lincoln Collection sits at the gateway of Santa Monica and offers open public green space, world class amenities [and] sleek green apartment homes, which are needed in this in-demand city,” Century West principal Randy Fifield said in an email after the groundbreaking ceremony Feb. 22.

The first phase of the mixed-use project will stand five stories and feature 89 units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms, a rooftop deck, a lap pool and other amenities. It will have 25K SF of retail commercial space on the ground floor.

The second building at 1613 Lincoln Blvd. will stand five stories, feature 191 units and about 11K SF of retail space.

“Lincoln Collection will be the largest apartment building built in downtown Santa Monica,” Century West Partners co-founder and principal Steve Fifield said.
