A New Hotel May Be Built In Pico-Union

A new hotel could be built at the corner of Union Avenue and Olympic Boulevard.

That's the intent of Union & Grattan Properties, which filed plans Tuesday with the LA Planning Department to build a five-story, 200-room hotel where an office building, dating back to the 1960s, now stands. If plans are approved, the developers want to adaptively reuse the property, Curbed reports.

The hotel would feature an approximately 2k SF rooftop restaurant, a big garden terrace and a nearly 4,200 SF restaurant on the ground level. [Curbed]
