Poll: LA Residents Want The Olympics Badly

The 2028 Olympics is officially awarded to LA.
People who live in LA County are really pumped up about the prospect of having the 2024 Summer Olympics here.
A new poll from Loyola Marymount University found 88% hope the city wins the Games.
Out of that number, the poll found 56% strongly support the games while 32% are "somewhat supportive," according to Curbed.
Around 2,425 residents responded to the poll, with most hoping the Olympics provide LA with a big economic payoff. Most Olympics have proven to only yield a small fiscal impact, according to economists.
LA is competing against Budapest, Paris and Rome to host the 2024 Summer Olympics. The host city will be announced next year. [Curbed]
