Snapchat Goes Corporate

This is what we imagined creative office looks like in Venice. And indeed, this is Snapchat's 2,600 SF recently vacated HQ on Ocean Front Walk, which we snapped the other day. (We're not saying it's the cause of last week's security breach, but that kind of chain link defense perimeter doesn't strike us as impenetrable.)
Anyway, with a $4B valuation based on its most recent $200M funding round, Snapchat can now afford this 6,000 SF HQ at 63 Market Street a few blocks away.
Of course, it might also be they wanted to lower the decibel level of boardwalk life. This is what was going on opposite their former home when we walked by.
