Our Downtown Event

Los Angeles

It's not too late to sign up for Bisnow's Evolution of Downtown event, this Friday at the JW Marriott LA LIVE. One of our moderators, Sklar Kirsh founding partner Andrew Kirsh (with wife Courtney in Tuscany), plans to ask his panel of real estate industry icons what they're seeing with this transformation. The growth of the Arts District, new creative office space, retail and restaurants, and hospitality will be ripe for discussion, he told us yesterday. Andrew recently completed two transactions on the north and south borders of the Arts District, including the old Coca-Cola bottling facility on Fourth Street. (Polar bears will have to go somewhere else to get their fix.)

He repped Goldstein Planting, which acquired the property (above) with its partner Atlas out of New York. In addition, Andrew repped Boulevard Partners in the acquisition of a mixed-use property on Seventh Place adjacent to the popular restaurant Bestia. "Both projects are going to transform the Arts District," he says. Andrew played baseball at Northwestern and was on Team USA's fast-pitch softball team in the Maccabiah Games in Israel in 2009. He still plays softball on a weekly basis with friends and clients in a league. For info on our event, click here.
