A Deal That Refreshes

Los Angeles

It's been 85 years since Coca-Cola operated a production facility at 963 E Fourth St in Downtown, but it's still being put to good use. Atlas LA 4th St LLC, an entity that includes the GPI Cos, bought the 124k SF facility in the Arts District for $19M cash. GPI's Drew Planting tells us planning is underway to convert the circa 1915 building for creative office space, retaining its historical flavor. This was the Arts District's largest sale over the past couple years, according to Lee & Associates' Mollie Dietsch, who repped GPI along with Matthew Artukovich. CBRE repped seller Harmony Investments. (For the Pepsi challenge, we blindfolded people and had them to enter the building, to see if they knew if it was a Coke or Pepsi foyer.)
