The Doubletree by Hilton hotel in London’s Docklands has a new owner. Junson Capital, a family fund from China, snapped up the four-star hotel from HIG’s Bayside Capital for about £80M, nearly double the amount Bayside paid for it, according to CoStar.

The purchase is Junson’s debut into the UK. The 147k SF Docklands Riverside hotel features 378 beds, 9k SF of event space and 15 meeting rooms, as well as a Millennium Suite that connects to a terrace used frequently for wedding receptions of up to 160 guests.

CBRE and JLL advised Bayside in the deal, while Colliers repped Junson Capital. [CoStar]
