After being in business for almost 30 years, Cecil's Pub in Montrose has been put up for sale. The Weitzman Group's Edward Heap is repping the 6,500 SF property at 600 West Gray. Kimberly Blythe, the bar's owner, is looking for a buyer who will keep the business alive under new management, reports the Houston Chronicle. Neighbors to the bar include Skinny Rita's, Pink's Pizza and Barnaby's Cafe. A shopping center is slated for development next door.
Recently, Sparrow Bar announced it was closing. Montrose residents now have just a handful of bars to call their own. [Chron]
