Katy, get ready to rejoice; you’re getting your first Buc-ee’s. The convenience store is being developed at the northeast corner of I-10 and the new Cane Island Parkway and is anticipated to be at least 50k SF and have 100 gas pumps, Community Impact News reports. Katy will undoubtedly benefit from the estimated $25M in sales tax revenue, not to mention those who will eagerly make more stops there.
While Buc-ee's has 30 locations, this is the first of its kind in Katy. It has locations southwest in Richmond and Cypress in the northwest (making this store a sort of connect-the-dots).
