Gnaw On This: Buc-ee's To Open In Katy

Katy, get ready to rejoice; you’re getting your first Buc-ee’s. The convenience store is being developed at the northeast corner of I-10 and the new Cane Island Parkway and is anticipated to be at least 50k SF and have 100 gas pumps, Community Impact News reports. Katy will undoubtedly benefit from the estimated $25M in sales tax revenue, not to mention those who will eagerly make more stops there.

While Buc-ee's has 30 locations, this is the first of its kind in Katy. It has locations southwest in Richmond and Cypress in the northwest (making this store a sort of connect-the-dots). Buc-ee's is planning its first non-Texas location in Baton Rouge, set to open in 2017. Bring on the Beaver! [CIN]
