Details Emerge On Debut Of Nobu In Houston

Sushi fans eagerly awaiting the Houston debut of the wildly popular Nobu sushi restaurant will be waiting for a while longer. According to a statement from Simon Property Group, Nobu will open in fall 2017 in the Galleria Mall. The good news is that it will be accompanied by Fig & Olive, an upscale French Riviera restaurant.

Both restaurants will be involved in the extreme makeover Simon announced in early April. The company is spending $250M on the expansion and renovation of the Galleria, which will include a new 200k SF flagship Saks Fifth Avenue that will be home to both Nobu and Fig & Olive. Nobu will occupy a second-level 10k SF space while Fig & Olive will occupy a street-level 7k SF spot.
