Memorial City Area Mid-Rise Begins Leasing

Placeholder

District @ Memorial just opened its leasing center, and demand for units is skyrocketing. Simpson Property Group’s newest multifamily mid-rise apartment building is uniquely situated on the north side of 1-10 across from CITYCENTRE, minutes from Memorial City Mall and the Energy Corridor.

Developed by Kaplan Management Co, District @ Memorial is part of a renaissance along the westbound stretch of I-10 between Gessner and Beltway 8, where Houston-based MetroNational is building a 240k SF expansion at Memorial City.

The community is slated to be complete by June 1 but with the interior public spaces and approximately 25% of the units finished, Tiffany Cintron is already busy giving tours. The community will begin welcoming residents in April. (She's mum on how many leases she's signed so far.)

Residents will enjoy the proximity to key business districts with an incredible array of premier retail, dining and entertainment options. Perfect for those that want to live near the action but not quite in the middle of it, The District @ Memorial offers studios at just under 600 SF, priced from $1,210/month, to three-bedroom, two-bath homes with nearly 1,400 SF starting at $2,730.

Featuring light-filled interiors with high ceilings and contemporary, upscale finishes, the pet-friendly community indulges with amenities geared toward a wide variety of lifestyles, from an on-site pet park to a rooftop pool with sun shelves and even a new high-tech 24/7 automated package storage & retrieval system that’s perfect for online shopaholics (guilty).

Among the numerous amenity areas—fanning two stories off the lobby and providing additional space for residents to work, mingle and host events—are a WiFi lounge with computer niches, an executive conference room, a game room with billiards and poker tables, and a multimedia theater room. There’s also a massive two-story fitness center, rivaling any health club, where they plan to host spin classes, presumably to help residents burn off all the delicious food that surrounds the location.
