Chip Nash, Todd Stewart and Bob Heard, multifamily investment sales brokers with more than 70 years of combined commercial real estate experience under their belts, are working under a new flag.

The trio have joined Colliers International as senior vice presidents and directors of multifamily investment properties. They will work with Senior Managing Director Teresa Lowery and associate Jim Humphries to build out the firm's multifamily investment sales and capital markets services.

Nash, Stewart and Heard joined Colliers from JLL. Stewart, who has served as co-head of the multifamily teams at JLL, HFF and CBRE, has closed more than 500 multifamily deals totaling 150,000 units and more than $12B in aggregate value over his 30-year career.

Nash, who has more than 25 years in the business, previously worked at Berkadia, Hendricks and Partners, and Pinnacle International Realty Group. Heard has 12 years of multifamily sales experience, including a stint with Nash at Berkadia.

“Chip, Todd and Bob are three of the most experienced multifamily investment brokers in Houston,” Colliers Houston President Patrick Duffy said. "They bring long-standing private capital expertise and institutional client relationships in the multifamily market."

Multifamily has fared relatively well during the coronavirus pandemic, which has led some experts to predict multifamily investment will accelerate as investors look for the safest bets to place their money. Already, the debt markets appear to be picking up for multifamily deals.
