Lionstone's Jane Page: Commodity Office Is Out, Distinctive Mixed-Use Is In

Placeholder

Last month, Lionstone Investments made waves by buying a stake in Midway Cos' GreenStreet development. The investment was part of Lionstone's move away from commodity office product and into differentiated, unique office/retail environments, CEO Jane Page told Realty News Report.

That same thinking led Midway and Lionstone to bid on the Post Office on Franklin (Lovett nabbed the deal) and is at play in its 712 Main and Sugarland Town Square projects.

Jane told Ralph Bivens that Canyon Johnson is no longer part of the project, and Midway remains the developer, while Lionstone is the capital partner. (Note: Lionstone is not involved in Hotel Alessandra.) [RNR]
