In his first week in office, President Donald Trump's administration has put together a preliminary lists of 50 target infrastructure projects, including Texas Central Partners' Dallas to Houston high-speed rail project. According to a McClatchy report, $137.5B worth of proposed work is being brought to the president's attention. The report noted that one of the lists of projects was given to the National Governor's Association and a second, nearly identical, list entitled "Emergency & National Security Projects" was given to congressional and business sources. A senior congressional official told McClatchy that the second list originated with Trump's team, but a White House spokesperson stressed the list is "not an official White House document."
