The Medical Towers office development in the Texas Medical Center may get a renovation, and the addition of a 230-room Embassy Suites at 1709 Dryden.

The project appeared—complete with renderings—in a marketing brochure being circulated by brokers with Transwestern, according to the Houston Chronicle.

The proposed 23k SF development will include restaurant and retail space and will be called Medical Center Crossing.

Pearl Hospitality, a hotel development and management company, purchased the property in 2014 via an affiliated company.

The Medical Towers building was built in 1956; Baylor College of Medicine recently had offices there before moving to its new McNair campus. [Chron]
