Andy VanHorn is the Head of Real Estate for the Washington Commanders, where he oversees all of their real estate efforts, including the search for a new stadium site.

VanHorn joins the team with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of real estate investment, development, and operations. He most recently was President and Chief Development Officer at Dweck Properties, establishing a $900M development pipeline on company owned properties and a construction management company which completed $100M in work in its first three years.

Before Dweck Properties, Andy was an Executive Vice President at JBG Smith responsible for entitlement, community and governmental activities associated with the company's portfolio in National Landing. He has led a variety of notable projects in the DMV area, including Amazon’s HQ2, Virginia Tech’s Innovation Campus, and the mixed-use Potomac Yard commercial center.

Andy also worked in real estate private equity with Buvermo Properties and Charles E. Smith & Clark Construction. He received his BS in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University and his MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Andy serves as a Board Member and an Officer for True Ground Housing Partners, a regional affordable housing developer. He is also an appointed member of the Arlington County Economic Development Commission.

Tina Leone, a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, has more than 20 years of consulting, financial and management experience. She became the Chief Executive Officer of the Ballston BID in December 2011. The BID works to create a Ballston that people love through vibrant and dynamic branding and placemaking, elevated neighborhood experience, and relationship-building programs.

Prior to joining the BBID, she was the President/CEO of the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce beginning in July 2009. Within five months of coming on board, Ms. Leone streamlined the Chamber’s operations, re-established the Chamber as the voice for business in Alexandria and increased membership by 15%, from 630 to 715 members. The Chamber had reached over 800 members as she departed.

Her former positions included that of the President/CEO/CFO of The Lorton Arts Foundation where she provided leadership for the start- up 501(c)3 organization and transformed that vision into a vibrant cultural community that today hosts more than 100 artists at the Workhouse Arts Center at Lorton. The Workhouse is a 55-acre, 30 building-site formerly known as the former Lorton Correctional Complex. She guided the Workhouse proposal through Fairfax County’s adaptive reuse plan approval process and managed the Workhouse site rezoning, construction, and lease negotiations with Fairfax County, as well as completed a $26,200,000 public bond financing. She secured over $5,000,000 of donations and $6,000,000 of state historic tax credits. The Workhouse opened to the public in September 2008 and welcomed over 200,000 visitors within its first year.

Prior to joining The Lorton Arts Foundation, Ms. Leone held accounting and business consulting positions in various organizations. In these positions, she was responsible for audit, review, and compilation engagements, establishing and directing corporate financial policies, and overseeing human resource functions. She was the acting CFO for American View Networks, a national radio program syndication company and the Director of Finance for PromiseMark, Inc., a developer of Internet and computer related protection services. Ms. Leone also audited non-profit corporations and employee benefit plans with Keller Bruner & Company (now RSM) as well as performed international operational audits for the Department of Defense, Inspector General’s Office. She has created business plans, performed due diligence reviews, and assisted in obtaining funding of over $15,000,000.

Ms. Leone is a member the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of CPAs. She has an MS in Management Information Systems from George Washington University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Scranton.

Angela Fox was hired as the first President/CEO of the Crystal City BID in November of 2006. Under her leadership, the Crystal City BID has grown in both size and scope, dramatically changing the way the people see and perceive Crystal City. The Crystal City BID is also become a pioneer in the industry, with many of the programs and methods created by Ms. Fox being adopted by other organizations throughout the region. Prior to working at the Crystal City BID, Ms. Fox served as Executive Director and CEO for Cultural Tourism DC. While at Cultural Tourism, she expanded the capacity, visibility, viability, and reach of the organization in every area from membership and funding, to program delivery. She either initiated and/or delivered creative and innovative marketing programs including three Heritage Trails, WalkingTown Spring/Fall, Warm Up to a Museum, and Culture Cool. Though Ms. Fox now works in the non-profit sector, her background is primarily corporate. She has run her own consulting firm providing business strategy, marketing and executive coaching services to individuals, corporations, and non-profits, including ESPN, Bank of America, Association for Education Development, and more. She was also VP for Product and then Strategic Development at Simplexity, and she began her career in the Executive Development Program at Bell Atlantic (now Verizon). While at Bell Atlantic, she launched Bell Atlantic.net, the company's Internet Access product, and, as CIO for Consumer Services, their first e-commerce application for their consumer base; as well as appearing in two Bell Atlantic commercials and facilitating Diversity Management training throughout the organization. Graduating from Georgia Tech with Highest Honors in electrical engineering, Ms. Fox has honed a deep and meaningful commitment to her community. She currently serves and has on several boards, including the Arena Stage Corporate Board, Synetic Theater (as Chair), Georgia Tech, and the FotoDC Advisory Board. She is a past chair for the Capitol Fringe Festival and the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company's board, which raised more than $9M and built a new theatre during her tenure. She also served on the Arlington Arts Commission. A 29 year, Prius-driving vegetarian, avid traveler, runner, and active yogi, Ms. Fox lives in Arlington and is the proud mom of an amazing middle schooler at Gunston Middle School.

Since joining Monday Properties in 2005, Tim has successfully overseen the firm’s operations,

development projects, and strategic portfolio expansion. Under his leadership, the company has

invested more than $17 billion in capital, executed transactions totaling over 43 million square

feet, and expanded the firm’s multifamily portfolio to over 8,000 units.

Tim is well known in the Washington, D.C. region for exemplary placemaking at some of the

most prominent office buildings, including the iconic development of 1812 N Moore in Arlington,

VA now home to Nestle’s U.S. headquarters.

In addition to his accomplishments across the firm’s commercial office portfolio, Tim has gained

national recognition for his role in establishing Monday Properties as a leading developer and

investor of multifamily housing. Under his counsel, Monday Properties expanded the firm’s

footprint into high growth markets along the East Coast from the broader New York City metro

area into the Southeast.

Prior to joining Monday Properties, Tim was a partner at Westfield Realty, Inc., where he led

transactions totaling approximately $5 billion.

Tim is a graduate of American University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the

Rosslyn Business Improvement District and previously served on the Board of Directors for

NAIOP’s Northern Virginia chapter.

Mary-Claire Burick is a dynamic and strategic leader whose focus is on building engagement and leading change. As President of the Rosslyn Business Improvement District, she is responsible for leading daily operations and creating programs that define, enhance and continually improve Rosslyn for those who work, live, visit and do business there. Her leadership in the area of business engagement has been recognized within the region, and has focused on building relationships and retaining businesses in Rosslyn, as well as working with the real estate community, property owners and Arlington County to welcome new businesses to Rosslyn.

Previously, Mary-Claire was President of MC Strategy, a consulting firm helping leaders build healthy and effective organizations. Prior, she was Vice President of Operations for Allbritton Communications, managing ABC-7, NewsChannel 8 and POLITICO. Earlier in her career, she helped launch the Fox NewsChannel, where she served as Operations Manager.

She was named Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business and has a certificate in Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership from Georgetown University and a BA in Communications from University of Delaware.

Jill brings a multidisciplinary approach to her roles as a Design Director and the Southeast Region’s Education Practice Area Leader. By stitching together the most progressive ideas from a number of practice areas, she develops inventive and effective solutions for a range of clients and project types. Jill has also served as a lecturer at Virginia Tech, a visiting critic at Marymount University and a speaker on the topic of facilitating creative connections in the workplace. In addition, her work has received awards from NAIOP, the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

Ked Whitmore is a land use, zoning, and real estate attorney. Ked advises clients on the legislative, administrative, and regulatory issues that impact real estate development projects, including land use planning, zoning, subdivision, and permitting issues. He appears on behalf of clients in related administrative appeals. Ked is experienced in financing, acquisition, management, leasing, and disposition of commercial and residential real property. He also assists lending institutions with the management and disposition of loans, including workouts, modifications, and foreclosures. Ked is a board member of the Venable Foundation.

Matt Ginivan is Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Development at JBG SMITH where he is responsible for a diverse portfolio of planned and active mixed-use developments. He recently led the successful development of Met Park: a 2.1 million square foot mixed-use development that is home to Amazon’s HQ2. Mr. Ginivan is a Board member of True Ground Housing Partners, a leading nonprofit affordable housing developer, where he serves on the Executive Committee and Real Estate Development Committee. Mr. Ginivan graduated Cum Laude from Princeton University where he was captain of the Rugby team.

Nina Weissberg is CEO of Weissberg Corp., a 55-year-old commercial real estate firm, and also a founding board member of the Weissberg Foundation. Ms. Weissberg joined the company in 1994, became CEO in 2006. At the Foundation, her concerns focus on the empowerment of women through regulation and Impact Investment to promote social rights, economic access and physical security. She is presently a Trustee of Beloit College (2010 – present), a member of the Beloit Weissberg Chair Council on Human Rights, a Trustee of New York University (2012-present). Recently collaboration also includes the Root Capital Gender initiative.

Mr. Kusturiss is the Senior Vice President, Development and Construction. He oversees development and construction activities for the firm including ground-up development. With 15 years of real estate experience he has been responsible for the due diligence, acquisition entitlement, design management, construction management, and leasing efforts for over 1.5 million square feet of new product.

Previously, Mr. Kusturiss worked at Equity Residential on the development team where he managed development and construction activities for six Class-A apartment projects totaling over 1,500 units and 50,000 square feet of retail. Prior to that, Mr. Kusturiss worked for Clark Construction coordinating the design and construction of new multifamily buildings in the DC metropolitan area.

Mr. Kusturiss serves on the Board of Directors of NAIOP and as the Co-chair of the Arlington County Government subcommittee. Additionally, he serves on the Rosslyn BID Urban Design Committee and is a 2016 Leadership Center for Excellence 40 Under 40 Honoree.

He received his BS in Engineering Technology from the University of Delaware and his MBA from the George Washington University.

Matt joined the firm in 2014 and works in the firm’s Land Use & Zoning practice group. He primarily focuses on securing zoning entitlements including rezonings, special permits, and special exceptions. Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a Presidential Management Fellow with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development, where he specialized in community and economic development policy. Matt was recognized in 2014 as a HUD Secretary’s Award Finalist.

Jim has extensive experience in the transportation demand management industry and developing partnerships throughout the DC region. For 15 years he served as executive director of the Dulles Area Transportation Association (DATA). During his tenure, DATA greatly expanded the depth and breadth of its commuter services and its collaboration with local and state government and the business community. Jim was integral to the development of DATA’s “Live More Commute Less” initiative that encourages better commuting choices by focusing on what commuters can gain by ridesharing, taking transit, teleworking, biking or walking.

Jim is the current president of the Chesapeake Chapter of the Association of Commuter Transportation, which includes members throughout the Greater Washington Region. His prior work experience includes stints as the director of the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and executive director of Fairfax County Public Schools’ Foundation for Applied Technical Education.

As senior vice president and director of commercial services for United Bank, Jon is responsible

for driving the development of commercially-focused opportunities throughout the Bank’s

footprint. He leads a team focused on cultivating new relationships and implementing treasury

services in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Jon joined United Bank following the 2016 acquisition of Bank of Georgetown, where he served

as director of business development. In this role, he guided the expansion of Bank of

Georgetown’s commercial client base throughout the Washington metropolitan market, with an

emphasis on deposit growth. Jon joined Bank of Georgetown at its founding in 2005, focusing on

the development of commercial loan and deposit relationships. He later served as a commercial

lending officer, providing working capital and term financing to commercial real estate investors

and operating companies. Jon began his banking career at BB&T (formerly First Virginia Bank

in Falls Church, Va.), completing the Management Training Program and serving as the financial

center manager for BB&T’s Georgetown branch.

Jon is active in several organizations throughout the Washington metropolitan area. In 2014, the

Fairfax County Board of Supervisors appointed him to the Fairfax County Industrial

Development Authority. He serves on the board of directors and the executive committee for

Alternative House, a Vienna-based refuge for abused and homeless children in Northern

Virginia. For 10 years, he served on the Georgetown Business Association’s board of directors

and in 2008, received its Business Person of the Year award.

Jon graduated from James Madison University in 2001 with a BBA in business marketing. In

2013, he received a Stonier Diploma and Wharton Leadership Certificate from ABA Stonier

Graduate School, an executive management school for the financial services industry in

partnership with The Wharton School. Jon lives in Vienna with his wife, Allyson, and three

daughters.
