An apartment development in Denver will break ground this week following a change of ownership.

Century Communities acquired a shovel-ready site at 33rd Avenue and Mariposa Street in the LoHi neighborhood that is slated to become a 116-unit apartment complex.

The previous owner, Elevation Development Group, had secured entitlements and permitting, allowing Century Communities to get started on construction right away.

The project, called The Stevie, will be a five-story luxury building with garage and underground parking. Amenities will include a pool, a sun deck, lounges and a fitness center. Units are expected to begin leasing in 2028.
