Denver's Women Leading Real Estate Build Community While Growing Their Careers

Women are making gains in commercial real estate, even as industry leadership roles remain disproportionately male. According to Bisnow’s 2024 industry diversity analysis, 27.2% of C-suite executives and 31.8% of board members at the nation’s top 100 CRE firms are women.

While progress remains slow, this marks the fourth consecutive year of upward movement.

Bisnow’s 2025 Denver Women Leading Real Estate event honors women who are helping accelerate that momentum. From master-planned communities to affordable housing, and from public policy to placemaking, these honorees are shaping the future of the built environment — and making space for others to lead alongside them.

This year’s list includes architects, attorneys, city officials, construction leaders and developers. Each brings vision, grit and a commitment to better placemaking.

“Your voice matters, your ideas are valid and you don’t need permission to lead,” said Carla Ferreira, CEO of The Aurora Highlands master-planned community.

Her words reflect a sentiment shared by many on this list: Success in real estate isn’t just about what you build — it’s about who you lift along the way.

Bisnow's Women Leading Real Estate event recognizing the accomplishments of these women will be held on May 21.
