Dallas City Council Delays Skybridge Decision

Placeholder

The Dallas City Council postponed a decision on Crow Holdings' proposed skybridge in Preston Center until November. The proposal on the table is for Harlan Crow's group to build a skybridge to link the parking garage in the middle of the shopping center with a proposed grocery store in the old Ross. In exchange for the thumbs up, Crow Holdings would improve the city-owned garage, while giving the City permission to tear down the skybridge, if leaders don't think it's working out. So, come back in November for the next debate of the area's residents (who don't want the added congestion of a grocery store) and the pro-development folks. [DMN]
