And Your Favorite Fort Worth Landmark Is

Placeholder

We asked for your favorite Fort Worth landmarks and Joe T Garcia’s (affectionately known by most as Joe T’s) came up on the list twice. The Pence Group’s Michael Stoltz loved grabbing a burger at Kincaids on Camp Bowie, hitting the links at Colonial, and ending up on the patio at Joe T’s. While Transwestern VP Sarah Everett tells us the Tino’s special is her fave at Joe T’s. She’s also a little biased, though, as she’s marrying one of the family next month (Adam LanCarte). Other favorite places mentioned include the White Elephant Saloon in the Stockyards as well as the view from Inspiration Drive in River Oaks (not to be confused with Inspiration Point from Happy Days).

Billy Bob’s is one of our favorite Cowtown haunts. Here's our DFW writer Tonie Auer (right, with husband Jesse) at the world's largest honky-tonk. We’ve tried to tally up how many shows we’ve seen there over the years, but we’ve lost count. We’ve seen Ringo Starr, Brad Paisley, Toby Keith, The Toadies, as well as country music legend, Don Williams. The nightly mini-rodeo is a must-see for anyone visiting, too. For our readers’ winning efforts, Sarah and Michael each win a pair of tickets to the Fort Worth State of the Market event on April 17 at the Omni Fort Worth. Although Michael, who works in Virginia now, may be cashing in his tickets to one of our DC events.
