Plaza of the Americas Is Inches Away From Sale

Downtown’s Plaza of the Americas is under contract to a partnership led by Pillar Commercial. Invesco Real Estate and M-M Properties purchased the Downtown 25-story tower in 2011 for almost $100M and began removal of the iconic skating rink and a rehab focused on the atrium.
The sale doesn’t include the adjoining hotel. Pillar’s Richardson campus sale, Lakeside Campus, was purchased by Cawley Partners and GEM Realty. Pillar, you'll recall, just sold a major Richardson office campus. [DMN]
