In what is likely the largest commercial real estate transaction in North Texas of 2017, Liberty Mutual has bought its Legacy West campus from developer KDC

The terms of the trade were not disclosed in deed records, but the development is worth more than $325M, according to the Dallas Morning News. Liberty Mutual’s purchase includes the empty land on the north side of two projects still being built. The vacant land will allow the insurance giant to expanded if needed.

The Plano campus houses two 19-story towers and a seven-story parking garage. More than 4,000 employees will relocate to the campus designed by Omniplan architects later this year.

Neighboring campuses for JPMorgan Chase and Toyota were also developed by KDC. JPMorgan Chase will complete its campus later this year, and Toyota has started relocating into its 2.2M SF headquarters.
