Young workers who demand distinctive office space solutions are driving Goff Capital Partners' acquisitions of six properties in the historic West End. Three of the properties—501 Elm St, 211 Record St and 800 Jackson St—were acquired by Goff and Long Wharf Real Estate Partners, a Boston-based private equity entity. Deal details were not revealed.

The West End’s bountiful brick-and-timber real estate is especially attractive to young workers because they don’t want office space normally preferred by their parents. In fact, tenant reps say creative-style office solutions in urban settings with a “cool” space are in vogue, Goff acquisitions manager Stephen Luik told the Dallas Business Journal. This is Goff’s first DFW-area investment, and the firm is committed to snagging more deals for its Dallas portfolio. [DBJ]
