Original Pegasus Finds New Home at Omni Dallas

Placeholder

The pegasus that flew over Downtown Dallas from 1934 to 1999 will, once again, find its way home. This time, however, it will have a lower perch to inspect Big D, just outside the Omni Dallas Hotel. Matthews Southwest's Jack Matthews commissioned the restoration of the Dallas icon, which once called home atop the Magnolia Petroleum Co (which became Mobil Oil), according to the Dallas Business Journal. If you want to learn more about the historic winged horse, Bisnow has the history of the Pegasus here. [DBJ]
