Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Dallas-based Atlantic Hotels Group opened Aloft and Element Dallas Love Field hotel at 233 West Mockingbird Lane after breaking ground in September 2015. The dual-branded hotel anchors Highridge Partners’ 37-acre West Love development, which includes multifamily and 24k SF of retail.

Atlantic partnered with operator Starwood Hotels and Civitas Capital for the soft opening of the first hotel delivered since the Wright Amendment ended in 2014. The eight-story hotel has 224 rooms and 7k SF of meeting space.

Aloft has banking, floral, laundry, hair and concierge services, child care, a grab-and-go café and a bar. Plus, all guests within its 133 rooms will be joined by a BOTLR robot butler that can deliver towels or small objects. This robot amenity is the first of its kind in Texas and second in the world. The 91-room Element offers continental breakfast and happy hour, and airport taxi service.

American National Insurance Co. provided third-party financing. The project is the first of five joint hotel projects between Atlantic and Civitas in DFW in 2017. The other developments opening this year include Residence Inn Dallas Canyons in Oak Cliff, Element by Westin Dallas East, and Springhill Suites and Home2Suites in McKinney.
