Bright Realty's 140-acre Crown Centre development is ready to break ground after the city of Lewisville approved plans for 2,000 apartment units, 3M SF of office and a 500-room hotel at the southwest corner of State Highway 121.

The land that makes up Crown Centre is the final piece of undeveloped land in the Castle Hills community in Lewisville. The site already has a 109K SF four-story office building under construction at the corner of SH 121 and Regent Way that is expected to deliver this summer.

The developers have not released when the Crown Centre development will break ground or be ready for tenants, although the company has showed an eagerness to get this project off the ground.

The Realm at Castle Hills, a 324-acre mixed-use development, is already under development at the site, with Phase 1 incorporating the recent completion of the Offices at The Realm corporate office center.

The remaining 140 acres heading into development will be strategically attached to lakes, trails, 35 buildings and an outdoor space designed specifically for events.

“Crown Centre will serve as a substantial employment center for the city as well as a walkable live, work and play destination,” Bright Realty CEO Chris Bright said in a statement.

“It is designed with the multifamily components spread throughout the office and retail spaces to encourage pedestrian activity and use during both daytime and evening hours. The project is also designed with a large amount of green space and water features throughout, which provide areas to take a break during the hectic workday and places to recharge over the weekend.”
