Quiet please. Please read this as if we were whispering. We set up on the "19th hole" of Lincoln Centre (owned by TIAA-CREF and managed by Cousins Properties) on Friday to confer with celebrity mini-golf caddies: Cousins VPs Matt Schendle and Cynthia Cowen, leasing associate Meredith Durham, TIAA-CREF directorDuane Hale, and Cousins SVP Mark Dickenson. Why the iconic Masters outfits? It wasn't just to drink vodka-spiked iced tea and lemonade but as a marketing ploy. Mark tells us a mini-golf competition lured in about 50 tenant rep brokers who putted (while touring vacant space) in hopes of winning a trip to The Masters. It's all about creative marketing, he says. |
