Even folks outside the CRE world know the illustrious Ebby Halliday(center, in blue), here with Annandale's Sue Hageman, Sunrise Properties' Linda Alexander, Chase Bank's Terry Murray, Stewart Title's Kelly Ansley, Tabani Group's Cheri Dolan, EDGE Realty Partners' Pam Goodwin, and West Village's Jan Cycon. The Grande Dame of Dallas real estate (at age 99), and one of Texas' most outstanding businesswomen, is still speaking to the public, including a recent address at the Weiss Auditorium at Methodist Hospital Dallas for the Oak Cliff Chamber. She shared her secret to success (shhh, we hear this is confidential): hard work. Other advice: don't drink, don't smoke, and don't retire. (With Social Security dwindling, that last one may be mandatory.)
