| CBRE leases The Colonnade (featured here last week). The 1.1M SF three-building project on the Tollway started off 2009 at 68% leased; it finished at 80%. Blair calls it a great success story. CBRE Investors owns the complex and spent $5M developing it. “The end-of-the-year goal line deal was signing the Hilton regional headquarters,” Blair tells us. More specifically, that's a 52k SF lease at Colonnade III, serving as Hilton's commercial services center. | |||
CBRE is also marketing 250 & 290 East John Carpenter Freeway complex, on a 15-acre site with three multi-story buildings totaling 539k SF in Las Colinas. Owned by Behringer-Harvard, it has been repositioned and redeveloped with potential for a corporate HQ or as a shared facility with multiple tenants, Blair tells us. When not listing, leasing, or leading, Blair golfs, trains for his annual fall marathon, and chases his three kids around athletic fields. His next goal? Returning to the New York Marathon; he started two years ago before a stress fracture stopped him in mile 16. | |||
