Each BTR development will include a community center.

Taylor Morrison is moving forward with plans to bring hundreds of rental homes to North Texas under its new build-to-rent offering, Yardly.

The projects, located in Grand Prairie, Celina, Denton, Melissa, Lavon and Saginaw, originated under a now-defunct partnership with Christopher Todd Communities, a Phoenix-based leader in the BTR space.

A spokesperson for Christopher Todd confirmed to Bisnow earlier this month the firms parted ways after a three-year contract was not renewed. A reason for the termination was not disclosed.

A seventh BTR project, Anna Town Center in Anna, will also be branded under the Yardly name, according to a news release. Each community will include roughly 215 homes.

The $55M Melissa community is scheduled to break ground this month, Jack Rowe, Taylor Morrison's director of land entitlements and development, told Bisnow.
