Why It Is Hard To Find Affordable Apartments In Arlington And Fort Worth?

Placeholder

Apartment rent prices in Fort Worth have been on the way up and are making it difficult for metro residents to find homes. Rent prices continue to climb because of job growth, lack of vacancy and rising property values, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Median rent for two-bedroom apartments in Fort Worth has surged from $970/month to $1,140/month in the span of less than four years. Arlington's rent for two-bedroom apartments rose by 9% over the last year to $1,200/month.

New apartments are being delivered, but at this point, supply is behind the curve with vacancy rates dropping well below the old standard of 5%.
