Schmoozapalooza, Continued

Chicago Other

400-plus commercial real estate pros joined us Tuesday for Bisnow's annual Chicago Schmoozapalooza, held at the hip House of Blues. (More coverage here.) Artistically snapped: Office Revolution's Ty Simpson, Henricksen's Bill Lynch, and Corporate Realty Advocates' Richie Klein. Commissioner of 35-year-old DRESL, Richie's sorry to see such a great season end and shared injury war stories with us. (We think crooked fingers add character.) Thank you, Richie, for another year of hilarious weekly softball roundups, which have taught us more about the game than Ponytail League ever did (granted, we couldn't see out of the catcher's helmet).

Englewood Construction's Kim Sawyer and Chuck Taylor. You might remember Chuck as a top performer in our Bisnow bracket challenge during March Madness. (How's your fantasy football expertise, Chuck?) Restaurant activity has been robust for the general contractor. Englewood recently completed the 23k SF Harry Caray’s 7th Inning Stretch and Chicago Sports Museum, as well as a recent reno to Spiaggia and the re-imaging of Fulton’s on the River to the new concept River Roast.

Bisnow buddy and Endura Communications AVP Lauren Sherman, snapped with her husband Scott (they're getting pumped for an upcoming trip to Napa). Lauren's clients, The Missner Group and Reed Construction, were two of the Schmooze's fantastic sponsors. CommercialForum also sponsored our CRE shindig.

Here's another shot from the House of Blues' Foundation Room, home to some very haute hedonism. What's going on behind that door? We'll leave it to your imagination. (Get your head out of the gutter. It's probably just a hush hush office lease closing. For an incense manufacturer.)
