Perkins+Will will soon have a new home. The architecture and design firm announced today it's moving its Chicago offices to the historic Wrigley Building. P+W signed a lease for over 60k SF on the top two floors at 400-410 N Michigan. Build-out of the new offices is expected to begin in September and P+W is expected to move early next year. P+W is designing an open office plan for the new space the firm calls a "living lab" intended to encourage new ideas between architects, interior designers and planners. A rooftop terrace is also planned to provide employees with a gathering and working space that can also host community events. P+W has called the 35th and 36th floors of 300 N Wabash home since 1992.
