Fifield's 27-Story River North Multifamily Tower Set For September Opening

Fifield broke ground on NEXT last June. Favorable weather conditions allowed construction to progress at a faster-than-expected pace. Originally expected to deliver in Q1 2017, the first renters are now expected to move in Sept. 1.
Steve and Randy told us last summer that 85% of NEXT's 310 apartments will be studio or one-bedroom units. Planned amenities, including a 10k SF rooftop deck, conference rooms with WiFi, a state-of-the-art fitness club and a bicycle “kitchen,” will make NEXT a more efficient housing option, while its walking distance to the Brown and Red Line "L" stations will appeal to young workers looking to live, work and play near home.
The most unique amenity at NEXT is the "house dog," Daisy, who will be able to play with tenants who can't afford a pet and be available as pet therapy.
