CT Realty Investors started construction on a 1.3M SF logistics center in Romeoville. The $125M project, Interchange 55 Logistics Center, will be completed by the end of the year.

The center will include two cross dock distribution facilities, each with 32-foot minimum clear height, 560 feet of building depth and 185-foot-deep all-concrete truck courts. One building will be 657K SF and include 60 dock-high doors, 157 trailer parking spaces and 241 car parking spaces. The second building will be 684K SF with 68 dock-high doors, 175 trailer parking spaces and 465 car parking spaces. The designs allow for further expansion of car parking, trailer parking and dock doors depending on tenant requirements.

CT acquired the 112-acre site in December, represented by NAI Hiffman's Adam Roth, Packy Doyle and Dan Leahy, who are also representing the development for lease.
