    Signature: Healthful salads featuring ancient grains like freekeh and millet along with the surprising “neatloaf,” (pictured) a lighter interpretation of Mom’s home cooking.

    Also known for: Unique fresh-squeezed juices like blackberry and lychee lemonade, for those who’ve given up their lunchtime martini.

    Restaurant: Chicago Cut Steakhouse

    Address: 300 N LaSalle St, River North

    Signature: Celebrity sightings, from Sam Smith to President Obama.

    Also known for: The steaks (pictured), of course! They’re dry-aged for 35 days and butchered on site. Make sure to order a glass off the wine list iPad app, it’ll feel like a game.

    Restaurant: Coco Pazzo

    Address: 300 W Hubbard St, River North

    Signature: Handmade pastas (pictured) like papardelle or rigatoni with the freshest of trimmings, along with melt-in-your-mouth pizzas from the wood-burning oven.

    Also known for: Its artistic, upscale clientele. Your nonprofit clients will feel right at home.

    4. FIG & OLIVE

    Restaurant: FIG & OLIVE

    Address: 104 E Oak St, Gold Coast

    Signature: A French Riviera vibe and a menu featuring the best nibbles in town. Get crostinis and mixed olives for the table. Consider the sea for your main course, since you can’t go wrong with a light branzino (pictured) or heartier paella.

    Also known for: Its high-fashion neighbors on Oak Street. There’s no better way to show your retail client they’d be in elite company.

    5. The Gage

    Restaurant: The Gage

    Address: 24 S Michigan Ave, East Loop

    Signature: Burgers (pictured), you can’t go wrong with regular or the venison version, featuring smoked gouda and mustard aoli. And the lively atmosphere never disappoints, with just enough raucous to get you in a deal-closing mood.

    Also known for: Millennium Park proximity. If lunch goes well, grab coffee and go check out the progress on Maggie Daley Park. (When the weather warms up, of course.)
